Personal lubricants (lubes) are used for vaginal, anal & self-pleasuring; they reduce friction, enhance comfort & increase pleasure during sexual activity by treating dryness & decreasing sensitivity. Types of lubricants include water-based, which are condom/toy-safe & easy to clean, silicone-based which are longer-lasting & waterproof, or oil-based, also long-lasting, but not condom-safe.
